Pastor K is a versatile and passionate advocate dedicated to the empowerment and development of persons in pursuit and possession of their dreams and destiny. Possessing excellent soft skills in relationship building and communications, she is a gifted teacher, preacher, motivational speaker, and counselor.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Kent State University in Psychology while on a full athletic scholarship and a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Community Counseling from Youngstown State University. She is a recent graduate of the College of Theology at Grand Canyon University with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership.

In addition to planting Saturation Ministries under the covering of Bishop and First Lady C. Shawn Tyson, Pastor K is the Developer and Executive Facilitator of SHINE Life Coaching & Empowerment LLC, an organization that provides principle-centered coaching, empowerment seminars and ministry consultation to those who are seeking to advance in their personal and professional goals. She hosts and facilitates SHINE Empowerment Sessions specifically for women to educate and empower them to lead their best lives! As an outreach extension of SHINE, Pastor K hosts the “Gospel Truth Conversations & Coffee” Pop-Ups at local coffee shops discussing various topics from a gospel-centered perspective in an effort to impact culture and community within the city of Houston.

 

Pastor K has served within the Body of Christ for over 30 years in various capacities of service and leadership having received her foundational spiritual imprint under the tutelage of the late Honorable Bishop Norman L. Wagner at the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church in Youngstown, Ohio. Her commitment to “building people” and helping them discover, develop and demonstrate their authentic purpose remains the impetus for her continual pursuit of personal and spiritual excellence.
